In Lebanon, especially in Beirut, the healthcare system is under immense strain due to ongoing conflict and instability. Hospitals are overwhelmed with casualties, medical supplies are running dangerously low, and many healthcare facilities have been damaged or forced to close.

Recent escalations have displaced over 1 million people, with thousands injured and in urgent need of care. Families are seeking shelter in overcrowded areas where access to even basic medical services is extremely limited.

Doctors and volunteers are working tirelessly, often without proper equipment, risking their lives to save others. Ambulances struggle to reach victims, and many wounded civilians are left untreated for hours—or even days.

As Muslims, we are reminded of the value of saving lives. Allah says in the Qur’an:
“Whoever saves one life, it is as if they have saved all of mankind.” (Qur’an 5:32)
