About This Campaign

This campaign prioritizes:

• Families in high-risk, flood-prone areas
• Urgent shelter repair and reinforcement before and during monsoon season
• Protection for women and children in unsafe environments
• Access to basic needs — clothing, blankets, and hygiene

👉 Our mission: To protect vulnerable families and uphold their dignity — a responsibility encouraged in Islam.

More than 1 million Rohingya refugees are currently living in overcrowded camps in Bangladesh after fleeing violence in Myanmar.

These are families who have lost everything — their homes, their security, and their stability — and now rely on fragile shelters made from bamboo and tarpaulin.

In Islam, caring for those in hardship is a form of Sadaqah Jariyah — and today, these families are in urgent need of that mercy.

The camps are built on unstable hillsides where even light rain creates dangerous conditions.

• ⚠️ Heavy rains turn pathways into rivers of mud
• ⚠️ Strong winds tear apart weak shelters
• ⚠️ Landslides and flooding destroy homes within minutes

Each monsoon season brings fear.

Parents stay awake at night, making du’a (supplication), hoping their shelter will survive until morning. Children sleep in damp conditions, exposed to illness and danger.

When a shelter collapses:

• Families lose protection from the rain
• Their belongings are destroyed
• Women and children become especially vulnerable
• ⚠️ Thousands of shelters are damaged every year
• ⚠️ Families are forced to rebuild again and again with almost nothing

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to others.”
